Moddifying Csharp.dll

Ok this has me curious, I have a game & the Pro version & ive found the codes



get_gold

get_silicon



Ive edited them properly with 9999999 of each but when playing the game the amount isnt there lol, Is there something that over writes this function & if so WTF is it lol.... Ive not come accross a game that ignores the lines edited....
