[Question] how to catalogue between players, npcs and vehicles?

hello, i just started myself again with some arma2 memory hacking. in the past i had a little esp based on what ive found on the internet + what i learn myself. so now i just want to start again, a bit bigger. how do you guys choose between these two entity types? i thought about an array with the classes (tank, car, motorcycle, ship,...) or is there another easier method to locate vehicles?
