Ok, first: please don't comment about how newb I am. I am already aware of that ;_;
Second: please correct me whenever I say something incorrect :p
The actual question I want to ask is about finding the address of base classes. After some searching on forums and videos, I found things like NetVar dumps and offsets in ollydbg etc. After I found the m_iHeatlh offset (and team number offset), I understood you can find base adresses (like the player base) using cheat engine and use the offsets in your code.
Later, I decided to try and make a simple backstab hack, so I searched for the m_bReadyToBackStab offset and found BC8. But that offset is not from the player base, right? It seems to be offset from DT_TFWeaponKnife (again, correct me when I'm saying dumb stuff).
So now I wonder, how can I find the base address of DT_TFWeaponKnife? I tried some pointer scanning on CE but that never seemed to work out.
I tried searching DT_TFWeaponKnife in olly (see this screenshot) but I'm kinda stuck.
Any help/links would be very much appreciated!
